"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace." Isaiah 52:7

Postcard perfect, a New England church and covered bridge sparkle with Christmas joy as another wintry night descends. Following the silent 400 years of night between the Old and New Testaments, Jesus came into the world to shine with a light that will never be dimmed.

What a beautiful picture and scripture! Isn't moonlight on snow beauteous! I agree with you about the contentment of looking at things as 'half full'....in fact I just used the quote this morning about my craft room being 'half a loaf is better than none'..half being storage bins. Hope your day is sprinkled with contentment and mine too. Good thoughts to start off with anyway!

fred ... i have never seen a covered bridge up close and personal ... they really do look lovely in pictures ... one day? maybe i will ... tho' my preference is still palm trees swaying in a WARM December breezes!

mrsd ... isn't it? it looks like a gentle cold ... -30C here yesterday ... owiee! can anyone say "where are my double mittens?"!!!

maggie ann ... i was reading some of my december 2004 blog notes and remembering ... i was quite content at that point, tho' the "to sell, or not to sell" questions had already come up ... and here we are a year later with some twinges of anxious excitement building and our house almost sold ... i will try to be at peace this week, because this house is the one the Lord found for us, so if we leave or if we stay - it is still what the Lord wants ... blessings to you too!
