Of course, I live in Austin and there are a lot of vegetarians (myself included) and vegans here, so we tend to have more of that type of thing available at the grocery store. But you might want to check HEB for soy ice cream if you have one in your area.Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12925617415086523147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8892190.post-55190202432550005012008-06-28T20:34:00.000-05:002008-06-28T20:34:00.000-05:00Never saw soy ice cream before but will look for i...Never saw soy ice cream before but will look for it, I like the soy vanilla drink, I put it on my cereal. My Dad had, and I have "through the roof" HDL numbers. He ate 2 eggs a day and lots of butter and lunch meat every day. I also eat 2 eggs most days.

But, I guess they know from experience with other patients that you need to lower your fat intake. I hope you can get those numbers down with your diet without disappearing. On the other hand milk chocolate is not a good idea. To lower cholesterol it is wise to est lots of whole grains, fruits and vegetables, beans, seeds and nuts and stay away from margarine. Extra virgin olive oil is highly recommended.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
