It's not that our plans are bad, but that God's plans are better!

from Max Lucado's devotional ... i've read this particular page about 10 times (guess i need the encouragement, eh!) ... and i have to say a loud "AMEN!" after each reading ...

weep no more ...

when my  heart is heavy, i am encouraged by passages like this one in Isaiah ... God saying to weep no more ... that He hears ... that He will answer ... and tho' the sadness may linger for a bit ... HOPE starts to inch in ... and HOPE gives strength and encouragement ... so weep no more ... for God does hear!

now there is no condemnation ...

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.  John 3:17

Remember how we used to sing: ... and they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love ... yes they'll know we are Christians by our love ... 

Lord, let them see my love ... because you loved me, when i couldn't love myself ... you died for me, when i didn't know i needed such a sacrifice ... you want me to live like you ... to be the light in my world ... let them see Jesus in me ... amen.

the hour is indeed late ....

eternity in our hearts ...

why the restlessness?   why the searching?

it's because GOD  has put eternity in our hearts ... we will never find rest, until we REST in HIM ...
