Canadian Springtime

 Here's a taste of spring from my world ... all these pics taken within 24 hours ... first it was warm (20C) with a lovely sun shower and rainbow ... then the blizzard warnings and weather started up (-15C) ... yup, that's springtime in middle Canada!

Jesus paid it all ...

 i have used only my own posters in the last couple of years ... but this one (sorry i do not know who to give credit to) was so powerful - that i need to put it here, as we head towards Easter ... Jesus PAID IT ALL ... none of us can earn entry to heaven ...

blessed from 2000 years ago ...

 i have always loved this verse ... Jesus was blessing me - from 2000 years ago ... i BELIEVE in HIM, i have confessed my sin and need of the salvation that HE bought with HIS blood ... i have not seen HIM, yet i believe in HIM ... therefore, HE blessed me - because HE saw that i would come to faith ... and it's the same for ALL who come to HIM through faith ... 

think on these things ...

 

i like the fact that there is "no law" against us behaving this way ... wouldn't that be heaven if we would allow the Spirit to make us a people who behave like this ... 

The Battle is the Lord's

Season of Pause ...

 It's the last week of 2020 ... we are all hopeful for better health in 2021 ... tho' i have found that 2020 was my Season of Pause  ... noting what is important, and what i can leave behind ... God certainly got my attention!

Jesus saves!

 He is ABLE to save to the uttermost, all those who call on His name ... Jesus ...

the POWER available ...

Good question ... If Jesus is your Saviour, you have all the POWER available in the Universe - as  your source of protection ... so "of whom should i be afraid?" ... answer is pretty easy - no one!

Faith? or Fear ...

we make choices daily ... tho' a real struggle at times - Faith is always "the better" choice ... it knows no boundaries and can expand to depths and heights that fear only diminishes ... it bolsters and encourages, it does not destroy and demean ... choose Faith .. Faith in Jesus, the Lover of our souls.

be patient ... it's not always JUST about you.

looking for POWER?

 Jesus is the One who has that everlasting - resurrection power!  He experienced death for us, so that we can live with Him ...

is your trust misplaced?

                         there is only ONE who is ever faithful ...

 Psalms says that God's mercies are new every morning ... for that i am thankful.

 Hang in there ... God isn't finished with you yet.

 i am so glad that GOD is merciful ... don't get me wrong, i know there is judgement as well - yet GOD offers us mercy through Jesus - if we accept that gift ... that gift of salvation ... 

Be the Light

 the Sermon on the Mount is amazing ... Matthew 5 to 7 ... 

"if only" we could live the way Jesus taught - all the time!

 it is easier to be kind, rather than critical ... it lifts the spirits ... and something needed during our pandemic season ... 

Where do you find JOY?

 Look for joy that lasts, despite circumstances, troubles, people ... look to Jesus.

be on guard ...

To be filled with the goodness of God, is to be filled indeed  - NOTHING else will ever ever satisfy ... 

Something BETTER is coming ... just surrender to God

summer time ... the winter makes me appreciate the ease of warm days ... but the winter is necessary if i'm to count my blessings when the weather is favourable ...

i have been reading through Proverbs monthly ... it seems that almost every verse could be displayed on a poster!

what a sad question for Jesus to ask any of us … yet, there it is … LORD, help us when we fail so miserable - or are just weak … thank you … 

What God asks, do ...

When you hear God speak to you … don't delay - respond … 

Jesus said: Behold I come quickly

it's with expectant heart  that I start each new day … 
for His mercies are new every morning … 
and this might be THE day … 

choose LIGHT

while there is still is time for a choice … choose LIGHT … Jesus IS the Light of the world … in Him is no darkness at all … John 3:16

Pandemic puzzles

i'm saving the world by staying home and doing puzzles … well doing puzzles anyway!  I find them relaxing … I blast some music (usual choice is cbn.com radio) and enjoy the challenge … this one was 1500 pieces … well, 1504 because there were 4 extras!

Easter 2020

this is definitely a surreal Easter … but GOD remains the same yesterday today and tomorrow … Jesus is the Way - the old testament prophesied about Him - the new testament told His story … and John 3:16 became "the verse" for all believers … so regardless of the calamities we are being hit with, the empty tomb of Easter Sunday still brings hope to those who have believed in Jesus … I place my trust in HIM.  I hope you have as well ...

Anxious times ...

our faith is getting exercised during this time of anxiety … this "pause" in our world … let's keep looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith … who for the joy set before Him, went to the cross on our behalf, so that we can live free of fear in this world - and then enjoy the next one to come … Jesus the One and Only …
