And praise God for that unchangeable truth! Our Pastor said not long ago. ..that we all deserve to burn in Hell. Wow...what a harsh thing to contemplate...but it is true. Just shows all the more God's wonderful and amazing love for each of us. ~~~I'm trying to declutter again. How things pile up! We get two daily newspapers Plus the biggie Sunday paper and oh my...If I turn my back my hands seem to lay down more things...all these hobbies and such are like little armies of 'things' following me...lol..help!
Yes our salvation is a gift that NOTHING can buy. I think of the rich young ruler that asked Jesus, "What must I do to be saved?" The truth is we can't do anything, but belive Jesus died to save us.
Saija, I haven't written to you in so long! I just wanted to say that I am thinking of you today. I pulled the book off of my bookshelf that you gave to me "Who Calls Me Beautiful?" because I am planning on using it as a resource for a girls' Bible study that I am doing. I am married now and live in South Carolina with my husband. Unfortunately, I am not blogging anymore, although I have been working on putting a website together for the two of us (we're headed out to Utah next year as missionaries), and may add that as one of the features. Thank you for making a difference in my life! ~Bekah (Bekahia on Xanga)
Hi Saija, My son brought me back two newspapers from Canada...I'm looking forward to reading them some more. For all the hours I've blogged today, I might have been able to memorize a few articles...lol. Ha! wishful thinking to boot. Whats your day like? Mine's as lazy as all get out. I still will send you pics of our son's home (inside) when I get over there next week hopefully. Its a man's world don't you know. No bathroom facilites there so I don't venture over too much. Afraid of stepping on a nail too.
