it was so nice to just go outside and see flowers and palm trees swaying, rather than the bleak whiteness of snow .... i took my coffee outside every morning and enjoyed the novelty of no snow and warmth ... it never gets old for me!!!
the sunsets are always wonderful there ... i took this picture from my cousins deck ...
and the flowers and cactus are everywhere ... the above arrangements was right by my cousins walkway ...
but 2 weeks did seem like a long time to be away ... it WAS good to be home again (even though i brought a cold & cough home with me) ... i think leo and buddy missed me ... i know i missed them and just my routine at the condo ...
i'm thankful for safety and for the many blessings that the Lord brought my way ... now the everyday feels special all over again!!!

Glad you had that fun and warm getaway! I'm sure Leo and Buddy were thrilled to have you back!
Welcome home! It looks like you had a wonderful time...relaxing in the sunny weather. I'm glad you got to go! Just think...we are getting closer and closer to spring...week by week. Our son in AZ tells me there are lots of colds going around out there. But he never mentioned the beautiful blooming flowers. *hugs* from Maggie Ann says k.
So glad you came renewed home.
That's what you needed and what everybody wanted for you.
The spring is around the corner in Manitoba too.
No season like spring to me. Send Leo my love.

Saija, it is even WARMER here now! Wish we had more time/meals together, and it was lovely to spend time with you. Hope you took some rays of sunshine back to Leo!
How wonderful that you have family to visit in such a beautiful warm place! The pictures are great and those flowers and cactus...beautiful!
I can only imagine how happy Leo and Buddy are to have you home. It's good to get away, it makes coming home even sweeter!
Yay! So glad to see you back, even though I'm insanely jealous because of all the lovely flowers and plants you saw! :) Oh well, at least our winter here has been the mildest one I ever remember so I can't really complain. Welcome back, Saija, and I hope to read more about your trip and your days home, too! Blessings, Debra
Welcome home! At least you came home to some pretty nice weather for winter in Manitoba!
Aw, I love your pictures. You are so cute. They do eat big breakfasts there, don't they. :) I'm so glad you enjoyed the trip. I know Leo and Buddy are happy you are home. Hugs ~
I believe going to a nice warm spot in February is such good medicine .. it really does make winter more tolerable. Summer will be here soon.
Hi Saija, I sent you a comment, wondering if you got it?
Welcome home! So glad you could get away for a bit. While you were gone I moved over to WordPress :) Joyce (There's a link posted on the blogger blog.)
Glad you had a good time. The photo of the cactus and flowers is stunning. Really beautiful.
The AZ weather sounds like our Indian winter
