choose joy

i've just started reading a book entitled "Choose Joy" by kay warren ... i'm sort of chuckling to myself, because it is a very appropriate read at this moment ... winter is hanging on, temperatures are way below normal and for seasonally affected folks like me - well it can be rather IKKY ...  however, joy is a choice (as i've known for a while now) - but to continually practise it can be challenging ... so i'm gonna be stretching those "choose joy" muscles in the next week ... yup yup ... the weatherman is not my friend at the moment!

The weatherman isn't my friend either! This post speaks to me and I love the picture too~!

The weatherman is no friend of mine either.
I am cheating. Buying dandelion and placing them around the terrace and the entrance door, I trick myself to believe the calendar which tells me April has come.
My way of choosing joy.

What a beautiful outlook...and by choice. Something we all need to practise. Love the picture of the sunshiny flowers on the snow. It really is possible to have both at the same time....lol

Beautiful picture! Joy would be wonderful, but I'll settle for contentment right now!

Hi Saija, Thought I'd pop over and say good morning! Its cold and a bit snowy here. I just had lunch and am totally lazy today. But, praising the Lord for his love and answered prayers. I can't wait for warmer weather though.
