the weekend!

good morning from my world!

i just took this picture ... isn't it enough to make you smile? flowers blooming in April, in Manitoba - well that in itself is a HUGE blessing ...

i survived the first week back at work ... a bit tired, a bit befuddled ... but the first week is now history! and leo survived it too ... it is always a period of adjustment for us ... especially with his health tilting downwards ... i feel like a bad wife because i'm not there for him in the daily sense of helping ... but ? ? ?

all for a reason ... and only for a season ...

Sounds to me as if you do not have much choice about working...and doing so only for part of the year, seems the best choice anyone could make. I am sorry it is hard on you both...HUGS to you!

How did you get a blooming flower in Canada....and they missed Minnesota! Still waiting for the blooms here! Beautiful!

Blessings in your transition--it's a tough balance isn't it!

Just remember your priorities.....like keeping in touch with your blogging friends!!! :)

Mmmm, that's purty. Love how you have the flower in focus but still included the background. Perspective is important. :)

(peaceful sigh)

I'm so glad it's Saturday.

What a wonderful picture, its like the sun is out!! Glad you got through the first week..you must be so tired and glad to have a day or two off. Its the hardest thing to see our loved ones suffer and not be able to help...my empathy to you Saija. Just stopped to pray for you both. Thanks for being just the special person you are...*hugs*

elizabeth ... this year the office is short-staffed, so i really think i "should" be there, we re-evaluate every year - with leo's health being #1 priority, then finances ... there's always places to cut if need be ... AND all blessings gratefully accepted!

Diane ... we have had incredibly warm weather lately ... no complaints!!! we must be 2 weeks or more ahead of the usual springtime schedule! yay!

Jeanette ... it worked out neat, didn't it? :o) it was my last pic of the flowers and the cutest, i thought ... yay for Saturdays!

maggie ann ... thank you for the prayers ... they are most humbly appreciated ... i do get tired from work - so once we buy a house/condo, we shall re-evaluate it ... as i say, there is much change going on in my world ...

mindy ... aren't they lovely ... i'm enjoying the fruits of someone elses labour, and it seemed to be a real labour of love for her ...
