tickets are bought
my tickets are bought ... i leave on the 25th ... my cousin's funeral will be on the 29th ... then, Lord willing, i will get home on 6 April ...
i know the day of the funeral will be sad ... yet - i want to be there - i haven't experienced a time of mourning with my paternal relatives ... the service will be at the village church ... it has an old cemetary around it ... that is where my father's parents are buried ... and my great-grandparents sleep there too ... and that will be the same soil my cousin will be laid to rest in ...
i will keep you in my loop ... as much as possible ... if you can pray for me ... when i come to mind ... thank you!

You & Leo pop into my mind often & I utter a prayer each time.. Glad you can go even for this time of mourning.
I'll be thinking of you and praying God takes care of Leo--even though you're doing a great job--he is the great physician and will take care of you both.
Saija,
I have listed all the dates in my prayer journal...I will pray for you and your family in Finland...and for Leo at home...did anyone have a cat to keep him company while you are gone?
I am so happy for you that you are able to go...
Mimi
i will keep you in mind, thought, and prayer.
So glad that you are getting to go!! I will pray for you!! Mostly also pray for Leo while you are gone..Sandy
Dear Saija,
I will continue praying for you, Leo and your aunt.
I so understand your need for being present at your dear cousin's funeral.
What a well proportioned dignified church. A place to find peace.
God will take care of Leo as well.
We'll see if I see you..
Yours Felisol
nancy ... i am so thankful that i can go too ... i am just praying that God can use me ... in whatever way He sees fit ...
antbk ... yes, God sure does a way better job than i could ever do ... i shake my head when i start to fuss & worry - such a useless pasttime! thank you for praying!
mimi ... you humble me, thank you for that ... i so appreciate it ... and alas, no kitty for leo ... he has gotten so desperate that he tapes commercials with cats in it! poor guy, eh!
daisy ... thank you!
Sandy ... yes, pray to keep those fevers away ... maybe he will actually be better off with me away - he will be forced to go out? maybe?
felisol ... i have bought warm slacks, because those grave yards are so cold ... the service will be quite well attended, it is a tight knit little farming community ... i appreciate your prayer!
I think that is wonderful about your trip. I will pray for you and Leo.
