seasons of life

i took this picture yesterday ... i was enjoying my first outdoor sauna of the season ... the ice was still trying to cling to the shoreline, but the warmth of the sun was loosening it's cold grip ... soon - very soon - there will be no more ice on the waterways and the first flowers will be breaking out in every garden ... *smile* ...

My favorite weather is bird-chirping weather.

Last night I led a study on worry and I read the Matthew 6 passage and played a little with the words and instead of looking at the sparrows, I invited them to sit for a moment and listen. Bird-chirping weather is good to remind us who's truly in control!!!

I love bird chirping weather too! That ice will soon be gone. In the last week, it has gotten very green here - you can't be far behind!

And I know you are waiting for this to happen too. We have so many many birds here and I love keeping the windows open as long as we can to keep hearing them. Soon we will have to close up for the HOT weather that will be coming..but for now just keep up that singing!!

I awoke each morning to birds chirping when I was at my daughters last week and it was absolutely wonderful...windows open and birds singing...I hope you have that type of weather very very soon...

That's a beautiful picture, even with a little ice on the water!
While we were up at the cottage, we did some bird watching from our picture window...I love the bright yellow finches, they are so tiny, yet so awesome. God's creation is a never ending wonder!

Ah the bird songs...some are so glorious!! We have heard much more cause we now feed birds and squirrels in our back yard. With the drought we felt they badly needed it. I am not seeing so many now, so maybe their regular food is once again in supply...well, no doubt, the bugs are out!! And coming inside too, as is customary here in the South.

It's already too hot here. Eighty-five and humid. I wish I were in this picture right now.
