well, it's a start!

i just took these pics of the "flower garden" ... finally - springtime is finding us ...
as you can see ... we are at the very very early stages of bloom ... in fact the trees are still bare, with only a hint of bud happening ...
so those of you who have been enjoying flowers blooming and the smell of freshly mown grass ... count your blessings! we have yet to even hear a mower in our parts!!!

but all is well - the temperature is forecast as a balmy 21C (70F) today ... wow-wee!!!!! it doesn't take much to make me happy ... a few buds coming up - and seasonal temps ...

hope you are all BLESSED this week day ... i'm feeling that way ... *HUGE GRIN*

Pass it on

by Kurt Kaiser

It only takes a spark to get a fire going,
And soon all those around can warm up in its glowing;
That's how it is with God's Love,
Once you've experienced it,
Your spread the love to everyone
You want to pass it on.

What a wonderous time is spring,
When all the tress are budding
The birds begin to sing, the flowers start their blooming;
That's how it is with God's love,
Once you've experienced it.
You want to sing, it's fresh like spring,
You want to pass it on.

I wish for you my friend
This happiness that I've found;
You can depend on God
It matters not where you're bound,
I'll shout it from the mountain top - PRAISE GOD!
I want the world to know
The Lord of love has come to me
I want to pass it on.

I'll shout it from the mountain top - PRAISE GOD!
I want the world to know
The Lord of love has come to me
I want to pass it on.

I find such joy in seeing Gods beautiful creation come to life. When I look out my window and see the emerald green grass and trees full of leaves, I want to do a happy dance! That's a blessing of living in a Northern climate - we really appreciate Spring!

Isn't it a joyful time to see everything sprouting and growing! It is warm here too, but you are warmer today! That song brings me back to junior high. I remember singing it at youth group in church.

Dear Saija,
I sure praise the Lord for the spring. 21 Celsius that's summer by us. We cannot expect that high temperature until June/July.
Eastern Norway has about your temperatures, lucky people.
Anyway, here is where I want to stay. Here life is good to me.
Give Leo a hug,
best wishes Felisol

It IS exhilerating to see the roses and flowers come to life again isn't it. Our roses are leafed out and already have some holes in the leaves. We had a wicked wind storm here Saturday and it uprooted two large trees in our yard. I didn't think to post a picture of that. There was so much damage done by the wind all over the place. We were blessed not to lose electric. I never came across that aerial pic of our house to send you. Maybe yet it will turn up...and I never got over to our son's to snap some pics of his house in the remodeling stages for you. Now that I can do...eventually. I forget so easily. Sorry! I know you didn't lose any sleep over it...grin. Well, off to bed I go its a little after 1 a.m. Wishing you a happy day tomorrow...or is that today? *hugs*

Oh, I can imagine you're thrilled - seems your winter is even longer than ours! I mean even we have full leaves in the trees - the plum trees are full of flowers and the apple trees about to burst too.
Sadly, a very cold period is over us, so it might do harm to the fruits and berries - there aren't many bees to be seen and tonight there might be some frost too :(

What is that pretty plant with the tiny flowers called? And the first pix--a stalk of something? Here in the West we don't have the same perrenials that you do since we don't freeze... Loved your post!

Springtime. Always so nice, except for the tornados and storms we have in our part of the country :o( We still enjoy it and love watching everything come to life.

I would trade you anytime!
It's high 80's here and the grass is growing so fast, we constantly hear and have to use lawn mowers.

But... there are blessings in everything! :-)

Many blessings to you and Leo. I hope all is going well.

God's Grace.
