chilly temps

the snow fell and so did the temperatures!!! it is officially a mind numbing -22C as i type this ... and tonight it will probably be -30C ... since it was so chilly - i made some chili ... yum ... it turned out great and helped to warm us up ...

my blues have lifted ... it seems they strike, make me sad - then they evaporate as i read the solid, real, Word of God ... "Thou has enlarged me when i was in distress ... the Lord will hear when i call unto Him ... put your trust in the Lord ... Thou has put gladness in my heart ... for Thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety." Psalm 4 verses ...

blessings on your tuesday ...

That's the kind of cold that gives ME the blues!! I can't stand to go out in it, then I get cabin fever. I think I need to rethink my thinking!
I'm so glad your feeling better, I had no doubt that cloud would lift, and your verse is perfect. Enjoy your chili..yum!

Saija: Thanks for your post. It's always refreshing to read them. Please keep me in your prayers. Today was not a good day in my battle against depression. Thank you!

Goodness..that is unimaginably cold. We've had strong, cold winds...but with the sun shining it's almost tolerable. Stay bundled.

Glad to see you over at my place (o:
love that winter picture on the header.
Last night it was -1 degrees F. 20 right now.
I am tired of cold weather.
Sorry you were feeling a little blue. So glad you are up a little.

dear saija...i am glad that you realize that you are living in safety because of the lord.

saija, when we lived in my beloved manitoba and when we saw the weather on tv and the warm temperatures of 40 degrees F[in those days there was no celsius]. and we were having five below F, we thought that it really must be like florida, living in southern ontario, but you know what saija...even though the temperatures are higher here, the cold is the type that goes right through you and chills your every bone whereas the only bad thing about the prairie cold was the odd freezing of the nose!hahaaha...love terry
