cleanness of winter

i had a nice telephone visit with maria yesterday ... i read your comments to her, and you guys really boosted her spirits and blessed her heart ... thank you so much for that!  she was in such an up mood - AND she had slept through the night (which happens very seldom) ...

what a storm the eastern atlantic is getting ... we have missed it ... i was just out for a nice walk and took some pics from the town beach/dock ... thought i would share the cleanness of winter with you!

blessings on your weekend - and watch for those diamonds in the snow ...

Good report on Maria. I love that picture with the bench. The snow so smooth. We have so much "stuff" in our area that even when we get a rare big snow we don't see expanses of white, smooth snow like that.

Feels weird to see that--TO has been snowless for a while compared to last year's record breaking snowfall! So glad Maria is encouraged. Peggy has a great song on her blog, He Is by Mark Schulz, http://mazmagi.blogspot.com/2010/02/he-is.html - let Maria listen to it if possible..
Blessings,
Sita

You are right about the cleanness. I think we need a fresh coat of snow here, ours is starting to look a little dirty!

Saija, your pictures are so pristene, I think I can see the diamonds glimmering in the sun.. I read the previous post and prayers for your sister she is such an inspiration to so many..

I love your pretty pictures. We did not get much snow this time, and I hope we don't get the ice. I'm glad Maria is feeling better. Still praying she will get better ~

Lovely pictures! I agree with Nancy. Pristine is the word.

Keeping Maria in my prayers.

Dear Saija,
I'm glad about the good news about Maria.
One night of good sleep can renew one's spirit greatly.
Psalm 30:6 (Hebrew edition)weeping "may tarry for the night, but joy cometh in the morning."
Or like my mother will put it:" There is lots of healing in a good nights sleep."
Will pray that you all may have a good nights sleep.

Gorgeous photos! I'm glad to hear Maria is in good spirits and that she is finding some positives in the potential amputation. That can't be an easy thing to do, but indeed, if it takes away some of her chronic pain and infections, then it may well be worth it. I will be hoping that she doesn't have to go through it, but that if she does, it will go smoothly and bring her some relief. I am keeping her in my prayers (and you and Leo as well, as always).

The pictures are so pretty, but I'd rather see green grass and flowers!
We don't have any snow on the ground here, but we are expecting a storm to dump about 6 inches on Wednesday. I hope the weather man is wrong!
Sending Maria my prayers and love!
