it's my birthday, happy birthday to me!

yup yup yup ... it's another birthday ... number 56 ... which feels like 21 or 30 or 40 ... i'm still me inside ... the shell is a little different - but the essence is still saija ... a person saved by grace ... maturing in faith ... loving the life God has given me ... joys, trials & some tribulation thrown in for good measure ... it's all a wonderful "before heaven" type of life ...

*huge smile* ...

leo is chatting at me ... the olympics are playing on the tv ... so gonna go enjoy the day the Lord has made!

What you say about aging is so true, Saija. The reason for that is that we are truly "Spirit" and the Spirit never ages!!!! I'm 72 & I truly do not feel "old" because as you say, its "me" in this shell called a body.

You are special...=) The Olympics are fun to watch...I enjoyed seeing Even...? win the gold for skating. I'm in awe of the medal winners...each one. Such courage and hard work! Some of those events are downright dangerous! We haven't watched it all but enjoyed what we saw. bye for now dear friend...may the Lord bless you with many, many more Birthdays! =)
