I know Who Holds Tomorrow
words and music by Ira Stanphill
I don't know about tomorrow,
I just live from day to day.
I don't borrow from it's sunshine,
For it's skies may turn to gray.
I don't worry o'er the future,
For I know what Jesus said.
And today I'll walk beside Him,
For He knows what is ahead.
Refrain
Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand.
Ev'ry step is getting brighter,
As the golden stairs I climb;
Ev'ry burden's getting lighter;
Ev'ry cloud is silver lined.
There the sun is always shining,
There no tear will dim the eyes,
At the ending of the rainbow,
Where the mountains touch the sky.
Refrain
Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand.
I don't know about tomorrow,
It may bring me poverty;
But the One Who feeds the sparrow,
Is the One Who stands by me.
And the path that be my portion,
May be through the flame or flood,
But His presence goes before me,
And I'm covered with His blood.
Refrain
Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand.

Dear Saija,
We are still looking through a glass darkly,and so it must be.
I can't say I like it.
It's often tiresome.
When Serina was a teenager, I made her paint stars on her bedroom ceiling, so she should not forget the good things in life.
Now I could need to do some painting myself.
A word for all of us:
Psalm 31:15 My times are in your hands;
From Felisol
That's a great song that I haven't heard in a long time. There is a lot of comfort in those words.
Such a good old song!
I know who sees, who cares, who knows! And therefore, I don't (shouldn't, can't!) worry! I love this hymn...
Hi Saija, Just stoppping by tonight to say I miss you. Wonder how you are..and what you are up too. I'm getting to bed too late and up too early. Hopefully I can change that...(doubtful!)...=) *hugs* dear friend
