expectantly waiting ...

our little beach was so busy this year ... always full of young families ... but this week it has gotten much quieter ... the weather has cooled and school starts next week ... folks are busy ...

which made me think of my life ... i hope i never get so caught up in the everyday, that i forget Jesus promise to return ... one day ... at a time when we least expect ... and the time i least expect is the one i am taking this breath in ... so it could be before i press the publish post button ... !  we don't know ...  but we are told to watch for it ... and to be ready ...

even so Lord Jesus ... come ...

Yes as believers we look forward to that day. My goodness all our troubles will be over then, no sorrow , no pian.

Amen, yes we need to be ready and looking up, for our redemption draws nigh. Bless you, my sweet friend. Hope you have some more nice weather to enjoy.

I ask that question a lot. :)

Isn't it odd that we don't want to busy and miss his coming, yet there is so much to do before he does...

Hi Saija, I'm so behind with blogging. We did get a new pc and I am learning the 'ropes' so to say. I enjoyed your post...how true, his coming will be so sudden and surprising, we think and pray about a lot of things, but I don't think of his coming often. I do rejoice though in his presence with me thru the Holy Spirit. I'm a child of the King, I know, and how it gladdens my heart!

The weather has turned cooler here too, well a day or two anyway. Sil had surgery, hubby has a man with a backhoe working on putting in better french drains out back....hopefully we won't have water in the basement ever again...still not sure how it came in. We are having company tonight and I am so tired...smile. Its hard to whole house clean up....or is my age showing? wishing you a wonderful evening. *hugs*

Comforting and exciting thoughts (o:

I have not been by in awhile...So very sorry for the loss of your precious sister. So glad you got to be there... and that you have the comfort of knowing where she is...God is good. Life is hard...but God is good. I won't even pretend to have the right words for a time like this... I am clueless...tell you what...I will push send and then bow my head and ask God to continue to comfort you and yours ...
