home ...

i'm home ... safe and sound with my sweetie - who i missed ... the trip was really good - except during the 2 weeks that i was away, one of our good friends was dieing ... i didn't know this until day two in AZ ... he passed away yesterday ... needless to say, that added a meloncholy tinge to everything ...

and my goodness, what travail in our world these days!!

did you know that the bible tells us not to be afraid 365 times - once for every day of the year ... for folks outside of Jesus, what a scary place planet earth must be ... thankfully we know that all ends well for those found in Christ ... i'm so glad to be sheltered in His everlasting arms ...

another amazing AZ sunset

Dear Saija,
I'm glad you had a good time in Arizona, that smiling face of yours is shining all across the sea.

When you get home you have do deal with everything that have been waiting.
Let's not fear or worry together? Eh?

What a beautiful sunset! I'm glad you had fun but sorry about your friend.
I didn't know about the 365 times - that's one of those little blessings that makes me smile.

That is a beautiful picture. I'm glad you are safely home. That is sad about your friend. The world is really in a mess, isn't it. I'm glad we know the Lord.

I did not know that the Bible says not to fear 365 times...isn't that just like God! In our devotion last night it spoke of the astronauts taking comunion on the moon...and that God is every where, even on the moon! Kind of ties right in with fear not!
So glad your trip went well, that picture is amazing. A trip away now and then does wondrous things to refresh and renew.
So sorry about your friend, but if we know Christ it is only a promise fulfilled of eternity with him.

Hooray! You're back. You were missed here in Blogland and I know Leo missed you, too. :) I'm very sorry you lost your friend, though. It's always hard to lose someone and may God comfort you and his family at this time...

It's wonderful that God tells us to not be afraid and it's great, too, that He warned us long ago that these tragic, earth-shaking times would happen. I, also, don't know how people who don't know God survive all these things emotionally and otherwise!

Again, glad you're back! Blessings, Debra

Glad to see you home again...and yes this world would be a scarey place if not for the hope we have in Jesus!

Hi Saija
Glad to know you are back home with Leo... and ready to face life again, renewed, refreshed, revived... after seeing life from a different perspective from sunny and warm Arizona.

Yes, we need to keep holding on to Christ.

Loved the picture!

Hello Saija, I too am glad you are back home. I'm sorry to hear your friend passed away. That is sad. We had two of our elderly neighbors pass on within the past week or so. They were in their 80's and both professed to know the Lord. I miss them, just knowing they are gone. ~~~ Your sunset picture is gorgeous. Vacations are a wonderful thing, aren't they!
