well look at that ... it's the 11th already and all my thinking of posting haven't made it onto my blog ... i guess i better just tap tap away to remedy that ...
it's been a wonderfully mild start to the year ... today is the actual first wintery day ... it's blowing 'n snowing and just plain COLD out there ... we were due!!!
yesterday when leo and i went to his doctor's appointment, i was wearing a light fall jacket and just so thankful that leo didn't have to venture out in below zero temps ... then to top off our 'good feelings' - when we walked into our small town clinic, the doctor was already there waiting for us - early - with leo's chart under his arm ... can you get any better than that??? i think not!
i hope that the new year has had a good start in your world too ... blessings on ya!!!

Glad you had such a great day yesterday and hope the appointment went just as well!
We had that kind of weather today, but tomorrow the snow and cold is supposed to come!
In my little part of michigan, we're waiting for it. This weather has been GREAT, but it is almost mid january.
We had our first little bit of snow last night but it is suppose to be warm again by the weekend. Nice to live in our area in the winter, not so much in the HOT summer.
I love god's many small wonders, like the doctor waiting with the chart. But, Saija dear, why didn't you put on the great jacket Leo bought you for Christmas??
I'm glad you are having a great year. The picture is pretty. It has been mild here, but the wind is howling tonight. It is supposed to be much colder tomorrow. Hugs ~
so very true...such a beautiful and peaceful picture...hope you are off to a good start toward a great year!!!
Hugs,
Mimi
What a great way to start an appointment! I needed a prescription for my very sick 80 year old mom.It took 5 messages and 12 hours. Perhaps your doctor could teach Mom's a thing or two.
Saija,
Congratulations on your first blog post for the new year! I still have to work on mine... and I have so many things to say. Want you to know that I thought of you and Leo and whispered a little prayer for both of you on Dec 31.
Blessings of peace and joy be yours this year!
Love
Lidia
Hello there, I have just come over to you from Knittermag's blog and am glad I did. We too have been having a mild January so far, today I saw my first two dancing daffodils in a garden!
I would dearly love to be able to add Scripture Texts to my blog, but don't know how or where to find them, please if you have a moment pop over to my blog and help me. I would really appreciate this so very much.
Have a blessed weekend,
Val xx Berkshire UK
