random thoughts on chronic pain and life issues ... with the occasional weather report thrown in!
As I grow older and life's challenges are greater, I find myself more and more often expressing gratitude to the Lord for all thoes wonderful Sunday School teachers who expected me to commit Scripture to memory. From VBS every year as a child....Thy words have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against thee. I am so thankful I have the words of Scripture committed to memory and, even when I don't think I can remember them, those words are there in my mind, on my tongue when I need them most.
Yes, I need shining lamps in dark places. I so easily halter and fall.I pray the Christ , the Mornings Star, (so beautifully written), will shine even brighter in my heart.
Absolutely! Our pastor is going through Ephesians on Sunday mornings right now, and what a challenge to Godly living.Blessings to you - Marsha
