As I grow older and life's challenges are greater, I find myself more and more often expressing gratitude to the Lord for all thoes wonderful Sunday School teachers who expected me to commit Scripture to memory. From VBS every year as a child....Thy words have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against thee. I am so thankful I have the words of Scripture committed to memory and, even when I don't think I can remember them, those words are there in my mind, on my tongue when I need them most.
Yes, I need shining lamps in dark places. I so easily halter and fall. I pray the Christ , the Mornings Star, (so beautifully written), will shine even brighter in my heart.
Stayed a while to read some of your previous posts, Saija. Glad to be reconnecting with you again at your blog. Praying that the New Year will bring beauty, peace, and hope into your life.

Absolutely! Our pastor is going through Ephesians on Sunday mornings right now, and what a challenge to Godly living.
Blessings to you - Marsha
