next, please ...

this is our lovely backyard scene ... very peaceful ... very tranquil ... but still quite bland in colour! that's the thing about March ... a person's eyes become starved for more ... we know that there are more colours than just - brilliant white, muddy brown, muted green!!!

4 seasons are a complete meal ... but towards the end of this particle repast, i am craving the next course ... that lovely and delightful springtime ... spring with it's warm sunshine and light rain ... the air takes on a new aroma of promise ... it delights my heart ...

who else but God could have come up with 4 seasons ... each with something to offer ... something to teach ... and something to look forward too!

It was one of those March days
when the sun shines hot
and the wind blows cold:
when it is summer in the light,
and winter in the shade.
~Charles Dickens

JB ... yes, you guys are way ahead of us in that department! plus you don't really get snow, right? it's funny that i am born and bred in the snow countries - yet snow is my least favourite of seasons ... though the Lord has taught me to appreciate winter too ... blessings on your sunday!

Saija, isn't that a little yellow bird house I see off in the distance? Like you, I'm eagerly looking forward to spring and the many new vibrant colors. But, today began with another snow storm/shower. *sigh* One of these days! Hope springs eternal, right?!

Claire ... yes that is a little yellow bird house ... the folks who used to own this house loved to garden and watch wildlife ... i'm sure it is lovely in the summer - tho' i'm hoping we'll be settled in a more permanent place by then! hope springs eternal in many ways!

I know that this time of year I find 'blah' because it's so drab I guess. It's not really winter anymore so no more pretty snow covered evergreens, and not quite spring enough to have the trees and plants starting to bud or the grass turn green...it's just...blah. But, soon it will be springy enough for things to start the rebirth process again!

Oh that picture is beautiful, it could be on a postcard! Spring is on the way, we have already had a peek of it, but now it is cold again. I am so thankful for the 4 seasons. Have a great week!

mindy ... i love to see where others live too ... what seems ordinary & everyday to one, is exotic to another ... blogs are cool ways to share ...
