Enjoy Canada Day. The two weeks I spent in Canada in 1992 weren't nearly enough. I'd love to return one day with Pauline to have a good look around.

Happy Canada Day Saija!! Your Canada is so very beautiful. I love your pictures. July 1st is special to me to...smile. Its our 39th Wedding Anniversary. How fast time flies...what joys and sorrows it brings. How thankful I am that we are under 'His' wings.

Hello!! I saw your name on David Fishers blog and thought I would click in!! I am so glad I did.
These pictures are so beautiful!! Especially the one of the prairies!! So Nice. My sister and I are going to Rivers, Manitoba this week to a school reunion and my feet have been just aching to feel the prairies underneath them again. It was 40 years ago that we went to that school. We only lived in Rivers for about 7 years before my dad who was in the air force was transferd to Ottawa. But the prairies are still in my blood!!
Thank you so much for posting such a lovely picture. If you don't mind Saija, I am going to put it on my computer desk top for about a week.... Thanking you in advance for letting me do this ...from Terry... Welland Ontario

Terry ... there is something about the wide open prairies that allows me to breath in deeply and exhale with a smile ... hope you have a wonderful reunion!

Dear Saija
I have memorized that nice picture on my desk top and will take it with me to Katy's as I go to work for the next 19 hours!! Thanks so much! Love Terry

Oh I love to know the meaning of names but I couldn't find your pretty name anywhere on Google on the girl meanings. The only thing it told me is that it is Finnish! Do you know what it means. Ha!! I really don't even know what Teresa means!!Just interested in other people...

Saija said...

terry ... my name is indeed Finnish, i was born there ... as for it's meaning ... i think it falls into the "sarah" category in some namebooks, but it's meaning varies - i guess it depends on who is wearing the name ... :o) ... i have met a lady who is estonian and her name is saija - also, her life mirrors mine is many ways - i found that quite amazing! HOPE you had a speedy 19 hours of work - gulp, i couldn't do it and remain standing! blessings ...
