let's go to the beach!

thank you for allowing me to unload on you guys in my last post ... and for sending me hugs and cheery notes in the comments ... i'm trying to play nice in the sandbox and not create any more unnecessary disturbances!

this weekend ... i think we should all go to the beach ...

one of my sisters lives on the west coast and sent me pics of her day at the beach ... they made me smile ... so of course i had to share them, so you can smile along with me ...

the water is so cold that her little pinkies only go into the water every few years ...

she has a wacky sense of humour ...

do you think we look alike? *chuckle* ...

I'm not sure...I never pegged you as red polish...perhaps a little more subtle...but maybe you just keep that piece of yourself well-covered. giggles...

I can definitely see the resemblance. :)

I live close to the beach, but hardly go. I get bored too easy. I enjoy the pool instead. Either way, I love the water.

fred ... :o) ... i don't get to the beach often ... i used to love to swim but somehow life has gotten out of sink with that activity! hope you had a good week! ... school starts soon, eh?!

I usually go to the beach once every summer, for at least three or four days, but I had to cancel this year's trip, and last year's, too. Maybe next year...

catherine ... let's hope there are many beach days in your future! we have a beautiful white sand beach about 45 minutes from our place ... you can walk for a long ways before the water even reaches your waist ... but i doubt i'll get there for even a walk along the shoreline this year! :o(

peg ... there is something soothing about a beach, isn't there!

rick ... i love the pic you are using ... good to actually see you as well!

andrea ... i thought so! *smile*

Oh, wow, your beach sounds wonderful! I'm about a four or five hour drive from the beach, and our Texas beaches are less white sand and more oil-globbed messes. But it's still nice to get there when I can. :)
