this pic was taken last night ... just one of the rocket bursts from the wonderful fireworks display here in our little town ... leo and i sat on our front deck and enjoyed the show ...

and ... just a few moments ago ... the canada day parade went by our front steps ... *grin* ... i am so enjoying our front row seat to our town's activities ...

i'm waiting for company ... so will post some more pics later ... blessings on your Sunday!

from the over-flowing heart of your blogging bud, saija

I love how you make us feel part of the festivities. Are you sure we're not your company? :D

Dear Saija,
thank you for sharing Canadian festivities. I like living in a small town too. Mostly people are less stressed and more social in smaller, more closely knit communities.
Firework is fascinating. We are only allowed to use firework for new years eve. Actually the stores aren't allowed to sell rockets but for the two last weeks of December.
There have been too may accidents.
What a classic profile and beauty Leo has.
No wonder you're sticking to that man!!!
God bless you and little kitten as well.

What a beautiful picture! At first I thought it was a flower.

Many blessings to you both.

Your firwork shots are amazing. I hope it doesn't rain on ours. We'll have all the grandkids with us and it's so fun to watch them through the eyes of children.
