olympic break ...

just hanging out ... watching the olympics ... hoping that canada will win at least one medal (we're better in the winter games)!!!! finland has won a gold & bronze so far ... :o) ... just saying "hi" ...

Sport is where an entire life can be compressed into a few hours, where the emotions of a lifetime can be felt on an acre or two of ground, where a person can suffer and die and rise again on six miles of trails through a New York City park. Sport is a theater where sinner can turn saint and a common man become an uncommon hero, where the past and the future can fuse with the present. Sport is singularly able to give us peak experiences where we feel completely one with the world and transcend all conflicts as we finally become our own potential. ~George A. Sheehan

Yes on viewing the Olympics

and so true on that quotation --

Quite a world we live in Saija, we have American politics, Olympics going on and Russia attacking Georgia --

Am so glad we "found" Jesus or rather , "He found us " -- the "ANCHOR" of our souls and "PILOT" of our ships --

I haven't had much of a chance to watch very much of them this time. Have seen a little bit of the gymnastics which I love.

The Olympics are great fun to watch. I like the gymnastics but am agast sometimes at the lack of clothes. Just when I complain though, then I see people With coverings in the right places. Boy! What a world!
