after beautiful crisp cold days ... we got some rain!!! and my wish for mud ... *smile* ... though i wasn't counting on the roads turning into skating rinks, school closures and many fender benders ... sigh ... careful what you wish for!
i did make the best of it by venturing out in very good boots and a lighter jacket ... i could almost fool myself into thinking that spring was just around the corner ... almost ... but i'm too old to get fooled that quickly! i did feel optimistic though ...
also an FYI on maria ... she was released today from the hospital and we are all hoping that her new routine of dialysis 3 times a week, won't be too tiring on both her and her hubby ... she will get homecare while her husband is working, so she won't be alone ... which we are all thankful for ... and again - may God richly bless you guys for praying ...
UPDATE: maria is back in the hospital ... just a few hours ago ... her blood pressure went really low and the homecare worker couldn't wake her up ... so she was only home overnight ... i don't what they are going to do with her up and down health ... but one thing i can be so glad about - maria does know the ONE who cares for her more than any earthly friend or family - and that is a comfort.

hello to Leo
I was out walking thinking it was feeling like spring too - dressed in lighter clothes. I wasn't thinking about how cold the wind can be!
Great news on Maria!
Warmer weather in TO too...should be a balmy 6C tomorrow with rain--today and yesterday we had gorgeous sunshine...
So glad God provided the homecare for Maria...it is so hard to see loved ones suffer...
Will continue praying...
Love, Sita
I hate to tell you, but it was almost 70 here today. It feels so wonderful after all that freezing weather. I even saw some signs of spring that I may be posting on. I'm glad Maria is doing better.
At least she is out of the hospital and I guess that has to be a good thing!
Sorry I have not been around much lately..I always think of you and know you have a birthday coming soon..We good Feb birthdays!!
Enjoyed visiting your blog tonight by way of Penless Writer.
I see we have some of the same hero's of faith...Billy Graham.
Blessings of peace and all that is good.
Wow. That was such an up and down post...so I can imagine what life is like for all of you. Up one minute then down. Really hard for Maria and her husband. I am so glad you all have jesus. Did I tell you this...I now pray for my niece when I pray for Maria. She is only 10 and wears a pump. It is still a concern though. Her mom is having a baby soon. I have been praying that he won't have this same problem.
I'm so sorry about Maria, she sure has been struggling!! I will remember her in my prayers.
Oh Saija... I was so glad to hear she was out of the hospital ...and now to hear she's back...oh my. Well, we will just have to pray harder then.... Blessings to you and your family, Debra
I'm glad Maria got the help she needed...in the nick of time it sounds like.
