our wood carrier was half full ... that was the last of the wood ... we had burned the supply that our neighbours had delivered to us ... but that was fine, we have been all set to use our electric heat for 2 years now ...
but guess what? last night and today we got 2 separate deliveries of wood ... i am beginning to feel like the woman in 1 King 17; ... the wood is just not running out, like her oil and flour never ran out ... our wood carrier keeps getting re-filled!
i shake my head and smile ... giving thanks to the Lord ... who provides for all our needs and even our wants ... firewood is definitely a luxory "want" item ...
