checking out homes ...

we went looking at houses today ... poor leo is totally pooped out from going in and out of the real estate agent's van (total of 4 houses) ... he was already sweating profusely by the second house ... *shakes head, with sad look* ... it would have been easier if there was something to look at locally ... but we drove 40 minutes to a larger neighbouring town, to see what they had ... poor guy, eh ...

did we find our new home? i don't know yet ...

the one older type bungalow, that i liked, had this large, park-like yard ... and for us - that's a bad thing ... the exterior was maintenance free and the interior was nice - that was the good thing ...

hmmmm ...

this mornings devotions once again reminded me how God cares for the birds of the air ... and the flowers that bloom so beautifully ... about HOW MUCH MORE God cares for us ... the Word reminded me not to worry ...

i did find comfort in reading that passage from Matthew's gospel ... i always find comfort there ...

so i'm not worried ... but i must admit to being an impatient homemaker ... just looking for that "home" to make over! *silly smile* ...

Awww, I'm sorry to Leo. Poor fellow. It's no fun to go adventuring when you don't have the energy for it. Bleh.

You'll find the right spot. God's just working on the timing. :)

Looking is half the fun, but I'm sorry that Leo was pooped.

Don't but that castle; it's too much work to keep it clean.

jeanette ... well leo's recouperated ... that's a good thing ... and we are thinking of maybe getting something built here in town? maybe?

fred ... looking is definitely half the fun ... but the joy stealer would be that there are no homes in our area at the moment ... :o( ... we may just have to create one!

susie ... we dont'have to move out, but i don't want us to stay here another winter ... it's that ole stale tobacco smell in the baseboards and walls ... cough cough ...

mrsd ... me too, i was discouraged last night but feel better today ... i'm just a very impatient girl - methinks!

I would be too...the urge to feather our nests is the way we are...hope you find the right nest soon!! Oh the potential out there...decisions, decisions, I'm one who has such a hard time making up her mind. My Mum used to make up her mind instantly in a store. Of course, that can work the other way too and grind on ones nerves...you know, the 'instant' opinion. Ain't life grand...grin.

maggie ann ... i told leo that we are truly blessed to have these choices - even though it is driving me crazy too! now we're thinking maybe we should get a little house built? in this town that we love? maybe? sigh ... what to do? :o? but ya, life is grand!
