finding fun . . .

Finding fun in simple ways makes the happiest days.

A happy heart makes a cheerful face.

I found a little simple fun today, Saija. Yesterday I had my nasal surgery and I had to wear gauze taped under my nose today. We were traveling home and I decided to go into a store and a restaurant with P on the way rather than hiding out in the car. In the store I surprised a poor guy who dropped his purchase when he looked at me. In the restaurant I entertained 2 babies who could not stop staring at my strange get-up.

Is the cute baby in your post someone you know? What a beaming smile!

I think I enjoy a well-placed pictue in a blog as much as the writing. You always give us a bit of wisdom to take along for the day.

My "moustache dressing" has been changed and my meds taken. Tonight just has to be a wonderful improvement over the ordeal last night. Sleep well, my dear.

So true indeed! Today son's surgery went well and it looks like the recovery period will be less than anticipated. So I am praising God for that blessing!! Daughter and I took care of the 3 little ones under age 5...so we are exhausted but it is a goodkindof exhausted too. And yea, we had fun in simple kinds of ways!! Ha!

Sabine ... i'm chuckling! with leo's chronic problems, our humour has gotten a bit bizaar at times and i can relate! leo has had sinus surgery - his nostrils flared so much over that one that it looked like you could drive a freight train in there ... i hope that you continue to heal and my prayer is that this surgery will take away some of the owies that you live with ... the baby is a cute little guy i found on the internet - i thought it so charming, that i had to share! Lord bless your day and recovery (((hugs)))

elizabeth ... that is wonderful that you can be a support to your family in such practical ways ... may God grant your son a speedy recovery and you the strength as needed!

Hugs to you my friend...you warm my spirit many a time! The happy heart Proverb is just as true as can be. Many times when our hubby's don't have time to make us smile, the Lord sends a friend whose endearing words warm my heart. But then, hubby has been doing A ok lately...=) Hope you have a sweet Sunday. We are going to try to go to my neice's birthday party. she is a little beauty..all of 3 years old and named for our own precious girl who is with the Lord.
