zap those pests away!

this is called a mosquito zapper ... ever hear of them? they are great!

i bought leo one for the summer ... they take two, double A batteries and you zap the annoying pests into oblivion ... what is cool about this gadget, is that you just swing in the general area and the "zap" noise will let you know that you found your target!

just be careful not to hit someone (or yourself!) with it ... last year i kinda got a racket mark on my arm when i accidentally on purpose swatted myself with one at work! oops! and owie too!

this year i thought leo needed one ... but so far the mosquito population has stayed very very scarce! do you think they heard about the zapper i bought? *grin*

I want to get one of those and take it to Texas the next time I go in the summer. I'll come home with a full racket of them, I'd be willing to bet. Where do you buy those things?

jeanette ... any dollar store, maybe walmart too? the bigger the racket, the more they cost, usually around the $5-10 range ... very inexpensive, but a great way to get any flying pest! i'm an infomercial this post!

we have one of those. i use it if a wasp gets in the house. i'm terrified of wasps but this is great cuz it zonks them out. Also works great to show to Scamp and holler Shaduup.

Oh, those are very cool! That's a good reminder for me to go get one. Husband keeps his at his office.

Have a great day, Saija!

I have never seen these things before!! Hm. But they do make sense!! Looks like a good idea to me too. When they come up with a way to get rid of sand gnats here in Georgia I am all for it. We have them so bad. They are very tiny and bite like they are monsters! UGH!!
Have a great day!!!!

What a cool contraption! Since we have our share of the litle buggers, I'm going to have to find them down here.

Ok, now I'll be on the lookout for one of these "mosquito zappers". The inventor of this is, no doubt, going to be a "kazillionaire"!!!

Saija said...

rita ... a kazillionaire who has no mosquitoes at all around him!
