all done ...
another season at the park is done ... i thank the Lord for my job ... and i thank the Lord for down time with leo ... "I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." Philippians 4:11 ...
I'm glad for you that your summer season is over...it must feel good not to have a schedule that is demanding....=). Thats how I like my life to be...a slow and steady pace with some lazy moments scattered along the way.
maggie ann ...you describe the way i like life too be - to a "T"... probably as we age, we just know to take life as it comes ... blessings!
sabine ... *grin* ... thank you ... during this break - i am praying for our condo to become available ... wouldn't that be so wonderful?!!!! *hugs*
terry ... this kitty belongs to a good friend of mine, but the picture just conveyed the way i felt last night! so i had to caption it and share ... have a blessed day!
auntibeck ... yes, i have my mug of coffee on the go and my list of "puttering items" on the go! ain't life grand? *smile*
Just came over to say Hi..=). I've been speed-reading a Christmas novel and have strained my eyes just a little today. At least now my DD can't say I haven't read it! You know, sometimes you're just not in the right mood to read a novel. Yet, it will be Christmas again in only 4 months! Time I read that book for sure. Hope you've had a nice day! *hugs* to you too...=)
debra ... yes, i enjoy work and i enjoy hometime ... :o) ... i think i may have to buy a new digi camera ... sigh ... i like my old one, but i think it may be on it's last legs ... so i will have to to some comparing! blessings backatcha!
sandy ... it's a friends cat ... she always gets these great pics of her pets and other critters! i, on the other hand, run for my camera - just to miss whatever cuteness went on!
mindy ... hope to be well rested in a few more weeks ... :o) ... actually i hope to have time to READ soon, but i think sept. will be busy for me ... busy is good ... then i'll appreciate the downtime!
maggie ann ... i read a Christmas novel in the springtime, a good story - is a good story! right? :o) ... i am still reading some studies books - but i do have a few novels that are waiting to be read as well ... blessings!
I'll bet you'll get your condo during your break, while you have the time to get all moved in and settled in without having to worry about going to work. :)
So glad the work season is over for you for this year! I imagine you have some plans too for the down time! Enjoy! We are going tomorrow for a couple days to a mountain cabin with our son's family...have not seen them since mid-June so it will be nice.
