SONshine ...
i didn't want to leave my 9/11 post up for long ... because "this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it ... " plus "the joy of the Lord is my strength" ...we may be sad as we remember the things that have happened, yet we can go on ... wiser ... more mature ... less naive ... but still joyful, IN the Lord ...

terry ... i will pray for Bernie ... whatever we go through, it is GOOD to know - we never go it alone ...
Yes, and tragedy makes us stronger in so many ways...bonds us closer to each other and to the Lord. Fruits that come no other way and that not of a way we would choose. *hugs* =)
I fear we've lost so much of what brought us together. It feels like business as usual, which I don't like.
maggie ann ... amen to your comment ... if a person only knows good times and never experiences sadness - that is only a shell of a person ... *hugs*
fred ... i hear you ... the US was so unified right after 9/11 that it was truly amazing and inspiring to see ... but i see that 5 years later, in the political field - it is a pretty rough arena ...
