clap your hands!

my blogging budding David Fisher from Pilgrim Scribblings, combined 3 of my previous posts for a little "blog warming present" to our new home ... check it out here ... of course seeing God's goodness AGAIN, in print, made me teary ... i tell ya, i've had so many happy tears these past few weeks ... and so has my stoic husband ... he used to tease me about the happy tears, until he finally got hit with a few of his own!!! the best kind of eye-water there is, from a grateful heart!

Yes I know Saija!!

What's a person to do anyway?
Here I was planning to work really hard at getting my Chrismas cards all written out and tucked into envelopes. stamped and sealed up ready to mail by the time Bernie gets home and doesn't that David put loads of good surff on his Barnabas Blog [smorgasborg style!] and then a house warming party greeting on his Pilgrim Scribbling blog and THEN he throws us another excellent site to go and visit?

What IS a person to do?????

Well THIS person is going to wish you a very special welcome to your new home and turn off THIS computer and get something done around THIS place!!

PS... I will not be truly satisfied Saija until I see that picture of Leo sitting in his comfortable chair with his face smiling because everything has finally been settled!!
You PROMISED!!!......Love and best wishes from Terry...a former Manitoba gopher!!

jel ... thank you ... we're whittling away at the "to do list" ... hopefully by the end of january, it'll be the "done" list! :o)

terry ... yes, david does write good stuff - encouraging posts at this time of year when folks need it ... Christmas can hit some with sadness, instead of gladness ... and i will most certainly post a pic of leo, once he is smiling again ... poor guy is too uncomfortable at the moment to have a happy face, though he has a thankful heart - just "too much" activity for him ... blessings on ya!

Happy housewarming to you BOTH...how nice to know you're in your own home on Christmas morning to celebrate the birth of Jesus. And you'll no doubt be surrounded by a white one!

Saija, your new home looks wonderful! Are you going to put up your Christmas card Christmas tree? :) Or, was it lights? I can't remember now that I'm thinking about it!

Even if I don't have one of the chairs, I'll just sit on the floor. A home for Christmas...it just doesn't get much better than that!

Merry Christmas dear Friend!

Ha ha ha! It was BOTH! The tree had lights AND cards!! Too funny! I'm glad I dropped down a few posts. Now, I have to go see what else I've missed! :)

antibck ... thank you, and YES it'll be a white Christmas! :o) ... but a mild one ... we are certainly enjoying our new surroundings! the goodness of God knows no boundaries it seems ... i am so over-whelmed ...

Claire ... hey there ... you remembered correctly about the card tree - it had lights around it, and cards inside ... we won't be doing it this year ... i have cards hanging all over the place and in a card holder as well - but maybe next year, we'll see what wall would sustain that ole tree of ours???? blessings to you too! :o)

Happy house warming :)
Have fun unpacking and decorating. What a blessing to have a new home, right at Christmas (that's always my favourite time of year to decorate!).

Mery Christmas and congrats again!

Saija... I feel bad that Leo is not feeling well but I will be praying for both him AND you!!...Love Terry
