don't hide your light ...

i sit here in the midst of boxes ... soon my computer will be packed and ready to be moved ... i am smiling ... i am tired, constantly planning the next step in my mind ... i am humming ... i feel my 52 years weigh down my body as i lift & tote ... yet, faith springs eternal in my heart ...

the earthly reality and the heavenly hope ...

and as i meet folks in this little town of ours, i tell them ... "did you hear that we found a condo? it is God's Christmas gift to us! we are so thankful ... " ... they smile and say, how wonderful ... and i reply "Yes, God is indeed wonderful" ...

i love that i can share this happy event and turn it into a time of praising God! it makes others smile too ... they catch the song in my heart ...

"God is so wonderful, I can't explain ...
but I can sing Glory Hallelujah, Priase His Holy Name!
He's wonderful, because He saved me ...
He's wonderful, new life He gave me ..
He's wonderful, wonderful, so very wonderful ...
wonderful is He to me!"

Dear Saija..In your own sweet way you are going to be winning people for the Lord ih that small prairie town. What a blessing for them that you and Leo have moved in!! God bless you...love Terry

Jel, of course is right about that Saija. You ARE very young looking!!
But according to me 52 IS young!!
Bernie and I are 57 and that Fish is 61!!
But we are all young at heart!
If Jel says that she thought you were younger than her and that she thought you were 39 does THAT mean that she is 40 or OVER? I thought she was just a kid!! Hmm....There seems to be a whole lot of thinking going on here...

Haven't been around in a while - and what piece of news do I find when I finally come over?

CONGRATS on your new condo!

Tomorrow is your big day. Because of the time difference my church Christmas bazaar will be over and I'll be - hopefully - sound asleep in my bed. But come Sunday you'll be in your new home waiting for the first Christmas in that place!

And about the age... My motto is that age is a state of mind. My grandmom is 90 and I have trouble remembering that she is old! Just three years ago she was watching my kids slide the stairs on their behinds and decided to try it herself - since she had never done it before. Said it was fun but a bit too bumpy for her taste *grin*

Happy moving!

Hey Saija...I think we better keep that Jel around...She's good for a booster upper, eh?
Only thing is though, she said you didn't look your age and said you didn't look any older than 39..
She tells me I don't look 57 but doesn't say how old I DO look..Hmm..Does that mean I look 65?!!!
It's a mystery to ME!....Love Terry

Yay!!
Tomorrow night you will be sleeping in your new mansion that was given to you and and your sweetheart for Christmas from the Lord!!

I hope that Leo will be feeling a whole lot better when the move is finally over. I think it hurts him even more than his physical pain that he is unable to help you as much as he would love to.....Love Terry
