to me, winter portrays a life that doesn't have Christ in it ... or one who hasn't grown in the Lord ... it can be beautiful and admired, yet there will always be something missing ... when Jesus enters - spring begins and makes the soul alive with blossoms that usher in the wild and wonderful colours of summer ...

That picture really is pretty. I've often thought that winter does look black and white - good analogy to a life without Christ.

jj ... it was around 10:30 a.m. ... we have such short days up here during the winter months ... of course, i tell myself that everyday is getting longer now - which is true!!! this pic was taken on the fly - i love to do that, then look at what i captured when i get home ... :o) ((hugs))
mimi ... leo stayed at home ... his sitting is so limited and the pain kicks into a higher gear when he can't stretch out or if he has to walk ... so we stay connected via cell phone - i even his picture on my cell, since he's usually the only i one i talk to on it ...
Winter can look so bleak and dreary and I loved how you said that it is like life without Christ!! That is so right!!
I love living down here where most days we at least have the sun.

Oh thats so true and beautiful too. I love the 'art' of winter. It thrills something in my heart and reminds me that God himself is the most beautiful being I will ever behold or love. Later ....tomorrow hope to email you a few pics of our Christmas...I'm running behind whilst' cleaning & ironing. *hugs*

nancy ... i think it's the way i feel about winter - then spring/summer ... my senses are more alive when the days are longer, the colours are more vibrant and the sunrises are spectacular ... and when the Lord has control over my life - well it is SUMMER!! :o)
