one more time ...

... we did it again ... we got another kitten ... his name is scooter ...

leo was sooooooo wanting a kitty ... he really loves cats (i do too - but not as much as leo!) ... so on monday, we came home with the little guy pictured above ... he was born on may 10th ... seems to be very clean ... and quite independent (which i like!) ... i'm hoping this is a fit for us this time ... í'll keep you posted!

I've always been a cat person and that is a very cute looking kitten. I think I'm jealous. :)

GOOD FOR YOU LEO!! This is a cutie for sure!! I love having a cat around our home. This is such a sweet little one. He reminds me of our Sammy that we lost!! He was such a good cat too!!

...and I'm shoooing cats away from my door! Some people sit and bird watch...we cat watch. Our neighbour's cat population keeps increasing, thanks, in part, to the nice big orange tom cat we gave him! We have counted at least eight, and they keep coming to visit. Tom has decided to move back here, and his lady friends like to visit....maybe for Tom, maybe for his food!

OH, I am SUCH a cat person! Hubby is allergic, so we have a dog but all my pet-love comes out in the presence of a cat! I burst into baby-talk and they either high-tail it for the hills or lap it up! As long as kitty is clean ... ah! that's the life!

It's sort of like children: they look so adorable when they're asleep. I'd have a cat in a blink if it didn't cost so much.

Hi Saija...forgive me going off topic...but in response to your comment on my blog: Yes, I enjoyed Phyllis Whitney as well. A Christian author I recently interviewed, Mindy Starns Clark, told me her new book, "Whispers of the Bayou," was her homage to Phyllis Whitney and Mary Stewart. It's a really good book too!

Have a great evening...

A kitten, eh? Leo must have some strong pull on your heart strings... I know who cleans the litter box in your house. :D

Scooter is a cutie. I love his sweet face, looks like he has quite a nap going there. Did you guys name him or did he come with that name?

Hopefully he's the right mix of cuddler and independence.
(hugs)
