it was a picture postcard type scene everywhere ...
it was a great walk ... until i wiped out! ... owie!!!! just checking out my almost 55 year old bones! ... my feet just flew out from under me and i landed on my hip ... i know i'll be sporting a bruise ... i shoulda worn my walking boots ...
we had a quiet Christmas eve ... Christmas day ... and boxing day ... leo and i watched some Christmas movies ... visited via phone with family ... and just enjoyed the lights of home ...
I wish we could put up
some of the Christmas spirit in jars
and open a jar of it every month.

What a beautiful walk. I love the quote too!
You take care and watch your footing. Beautiful scenes and a wonderful quote.

The scenery is beautiful. Hope you will be alright from your fall!
I've fallen a couple of times myself this winter...I'm beginning to just expect it!
You look FAB in your movie star sun glasses!!
Great pics and I love the quote!
Beautiful picture......it has been lovely these last few days
I'm glad you and Leo had a lovely Christmas... we drove over to the other side of the state and enjoyed Christmas with our oldest daughter and her family...
arrived back home today...
I wish for you a very blessed 2009!
Be safe out there and watch those bones. Hoping you and Leo are snug and hunkered down safely for the winter. Keep posting those beautiful pictures, but next time wear your traction boots ;)
Hi, I am blog hopping tonight. Love your bundeled up picture. Speaking of falling, my hubby left for work last week at 5:45 and slipped on the ice by his truck. Landed on his back. PTL that he wasn't hurt bad. Love the snowy pics. Come visit me.
BEAUTIFUL! Although I just got a chill. ;)
Oh my goodness Saija how can you walk in hat snow. To me its amzsing.
Sorry to hear about yourfall. I hope you're not too badly bruised!
The scenery looks so beautiful and tranquil...and cold, lol.
Thank you for visiting Heart Choices. I'm glad you found me through Felisol. She's become so very dear to me. :) Your photos are wonderful; just like a postcard. I miss the snow during this time of year. I don't see snow in Phoenix, Arizona unless I drive north to Flagstaff. I hope you're not hurt too badly. I'm in the same age bracket and I know how that can be. Take care of yourself. I'll be back to visit you. May this be a good new year for you and your hubby.
