the light still shines ...

picture nasa www

"How close God is to us through His promises, and how brightly those promises shine! Yet during times of prosperity, we lose sight of their brilliance. In the way the sun at noon hides the stars from sight, His promises become indiscernible. But when night falls - the deep, dark night of sorrow -- a host of stars begin to shine, bringing forth God's blessed constellations of hope, and promises of comfort from His Word."
~J.R. Macduff

just wanted to share a maria update ... and a prayer request that she asked me to pass along ...

she is getting dialysis 3 days a week now ... though she still has problems walking on her own ... they might release her next week? but we're hoping that they don't yet ... she still has so many many medical issues to deal with ...

during dialysis, she has been getting really bad panic attacks ... and that is what she has asked for prayer about ... that her dialysis goes smoothly, without those anxious fears that plague her during the procedure ... may she grow in grace ... and blessings on you all for praying for her at this time ...

Poor sweet Maria. What a hard time she has. So glad she has you and others to help her along. I still have my prayer reminder on my bathroom mirror. Thanks for the update.

Father, I pray that 'in this thing' Maria will trust You so that her mind will be steadfast and not open to Satan's darts of fear. May her trust in You be her shield against fear. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Oh, Saija, I am praying that the panic attacks will go, and God will give her His peace. And I pray she will not have to go home until she is ready. And you must see my new blog makeover my friend!

Prayers are coming her way, my dear....
Why don't they give her something to relaz her during these treatments. I had a great friend who went through the same thing for many many years--three times a week. They would give him a little something to help him relzx and he was able to sleep through most of the Treatment....! Just a thought.

Dear Saija,
please tell maria we are praying.
Urging the Lord to let her stay in the hospital till she feels safe to leave, and that the panic attacks may stop.
I have been blessed with Psalm 37:4&5 today. Could you send that further to Maria as well?
4 Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
