maria had us on the edge of our seats ... then on our knees ... again ...
she was transferred to ICU during the weekend, extremely confused with many other problems ... it really looked dire ... we just prayed for her comfort ... in fact my west coast sister booked a ticket here (flies in today) ... and my northern sister has already arrived ...
then yesterday maria awoke from her haze ... the extra IVs were taken off ... and there is talk of putting her back in the ward ... we shake our heads, amazed again at this turn of events ... though we are fully accepting that "to be with the Lord is far far better" ... yet, we don't know what God has in mind ... so we just continue to pray for her comfort and God's will ...
i'm making plans to go spend a few days in the city ... i don't like leaving leo - but ? whatcha' gonna do, eh? ...
you guys are all so supportive and sweet in your encouragement and prayer on our behalf ... i'm thanking you ahead of time for that ...
i'm also praying for a good reunion time with my siblings - we will all be in the same city at the same time! that hasn't happened in over 10 years ... and it took maria to pull it off for us! *smile* ...
"So make we - all one company,
Love's golden chord our tether,
And, come what may, we'll climb the way
Together - aye, together!"

We'll keep Leo covered in prayer...you go off and have a reunion with your sisters.
Maria has me praying over-time!!
God's mercies are so rich...its our part to trust no matter what..not easy I know. I loved this sweet picture of her. First I noticed how sweet and lovely she was, then I noticed her pretty gloves and thought....I wonder if her Mom spun and knitted those ...how lovely. Lifting up prayer and wishing you a wonderful reunion with your sisters. (& Mom!)
I hope you have a great time with your sisters, and also praying for Maria.
I'll be praying that God will give both you and Leo special surprises in your time away from each other and that He will let you both know you are cared for and loved wherever you may be. Have a wonderful time with your sisters...Blessings, Debra
Spending time with family is so wonderful. I think it will be great medicine for Maria too! What a cute picture of her.
Praying for all of you.
Susan
Travel safe and have a blessed time together as family!!!! Continuing to pray.
Bless her heart and yours, Saija. Yes, we will keep praying for her comfort! I'm glad you sisters could get together at least.
Love and Hugs,
Cathy
Oh my goodness. What all of you have been through. I pray that you can hug each other and just hang on tight. Laugh and cry together like only sisters can. ((hugs))
Praying for Maria, your reunion with your sisters, safe travel for all of you and that Leo will be fine while you are away, dear Saija.
Continued prayers and may you all have a blessed reunion.
My goodness! What an up and down battle this is with Maria's health! It must be exhausting and confusing for her... and emotionally all over the place for you and your sisters.
It's good that you can all come together and support each other. Even be confused together! But at least you'll be together.
I know how you dread to leave Leo, but I'm sure at this very moment he is encouraging you to go, to not worry about him, that he'll be fine. And he will be... he has God and our prayers to look after him.
(hugs)
Enjoy the reunion, despite the circumstances! And Leo will be just fine, as he was when you were in Finland. After all, he's in the best possible hands :)
You really need to get together all you sisters. Have a good time. Prayers your way
