gentle humour on a sunday morning ...

There was a very gracious lady who was mailing an old family Bible to her brother in another part of the country. "Is there anything breakable in here?" asked the postal clerk. "Only the Ten Commandments." answered the lady.

While driving in Pennsylvania, a family caught up to an Amish carriage. The owner of the carriage obviously had a sense of humor, because attached to the back of the carriage was a hand printed sign... "Energy efficient vehicle: Runs on oats and grass. Caution: Do not step in exhaust."
========
A Sunday School teacher began her lesson with a question, "Boys and girls, what do we know about God?" A hand shot up in the air. "He is an artist!" said the kindergarten boy. "Really? How do you know?" the teacher asked. "You know - Our Father, who does art in Heaven... "

Happy Belated Birthaday, Leo! I'm so sorry I missed it, but no one gave me a heads-up like I try to give others! ;) I left you a note at Mrs. Shirkie's blog, too.

God bless you,
Lil Pilgrim Pal

Dear Saijea,
happy birthday to Leo. Hope he had a good day with not much pain.
The doctor asked my father:"Are you in pain?" "Not unbearable pains," my father answered. He for sure knew the difference, as does your Leo.
I liked the embroidered landscape, rich colours, good perspective and so very, very nice done.
My mother does quite a lot of needlework, so I know there are differences.
Sweet jokes. My mother again, she'll laugh at any thing as long as there are a clergyman or a farmer involved. (She loves them both).

Your artwork is beautiful - you are very talented!
Happy belated birthday to Leo, what would we do without Terry keeping us all informed?!
