 This ole world is not turning right ... something is up ... something is happening... but child of God - take note - God is not done with us yet.  Keep reading the Word ... keep believing HIS promises ... they are proven truth ... day in, day out.

Dr. Charles Stanley went HOME to JESUS

 We know that Dr. Stanley is with Jesus ...  he was a steadying force here on earth ... preaching the word in season and out of season ... we are thankful for all the hours of sermons that he has left behind ...

It is a choice

there is no getting away from it ... we all choose ... Jesus or the world.

The Puritan's Prayer

 O LORD,

I am a shell full of dust,
but animated with an invisible rational soul
and made anew by an unseen power of grace;

Easter Greetings

 How blessed to know Jesus ... what peace He offers to those who are the saved - the called - redeemed - heading for heaven ... AND, it is available to all who call on His Name  ... John 3:16 ... no discrimination - "whosoever will, may come" ... 

Springtime filled with promise

 Sometimes we just need to wait a bit longer ... but the PROMISE is there.

Where is your citizenship?

 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.  

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

And one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "if You are the Christ, save Yourself and us."

forgiveness ... easy to receive, hard to give ...

 

Never alone ...

 GOD wins the battles you know ... don't struggle on your own.

it might not be you ... ya know ...

 Denzel Washington put it well ... it's a lesson i've learnt too, as i age.

 In Matthew 6:19-21, Jesus says “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

morning by morning new mercies i see ...

 And the truth of it is, EVERY day with JESUS, is better than the day before.

Ash Wednesday

 The time coming up to Good Friday ... the whole Passover Season ... it is the great celebration of the church ... thank you Jesus!

keep in touch!

 Pray without ceasing - the bible says ... keep in touch with God and it will be hard for the devil to tempt you ... Walking with Jesus keeps us out of many a worldly detour ... 

my cup overflows

 IF God is our portion, then our portion will be enough ... and not only enough, but overflowing ... Thank you LORD!

it will be alright soon

 Nothing on this earth will last for ever ... be patient ... it will be alright ...
