bursting forth!

it's raining and greening up in my world ... the fruit trees here at the rental are bursting into flower ... but there is a fly in the ointment ... there is snow in the forecast - however, today it is still green ...

my spirits have picked up since the very rocky monday i had ... and that's a good thing! *smile* ... we may not have control over the way we feel at times, but we DO have control over the way we act ... we can be tempted, yet not give into temptation ... those were the kinds of lessons i was working on during the past days ... i don't think God grades us on these things, but i hope i passed anyway!

it's another 2 days away from home for me ... leo and our faithful feline will keep the homefires burning (not literally anymore - just figurtively!) ... blessings to you!

Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.

i'm glad things are a bit better for you. sometimes i think the weekend interrupts the routine i get going during the week. i wonder about that. then i convince myself that we should have 5 day weekends, 2 day work weeks and no change of pay! wouldn't THAT be fantastic!

I'm getting comfort from that quote at the end of Tues. blog.
Was that from a book or favorite
writer? Jackie

jackabug ... that was the quote from Our Daily Bread devotional booklet ... they didn't credit it to anyone, so it may have been anon - wasn't it a good good thought, though? i was encouraged by it, so had to share! blessings to you ...

oooh, no snow, please!
I needed that reminder that when I don't feel like I can control anything--I can control my actions and reactions! Thank you for that!
