the salt mines in the park ...

work has been a wonderful balm to my soul these past few days ... most of you know that i work in a park ... the view outside my window is of gentle forests by the waters edge ... i drive to work in the mornings and see all manner of wildlife and birds ... the roads are generally quiet during those early hours ... it feels like the world is still asleep as i guide my car along the highway ... as i drive, i have my morning prayer time, trying to get the right mind and heart set for the day ...

i thank my Heavenly Father for this job that landed in my lap 12 years ago ...

unlike other years, the first 2 weeks at work were so unsettled and tried my patience - thankfully, these last 2 weeks have made up for the hard days - and then some ...

even though i work weekends all summer, i don't mind ... i get to enjoy mondays at home ... * big grin * ...

Good thing that it's better now (again).

The spring flowers are so great. We too have our first tree-full-of-flowers (damson plum), and it's like a beautiful bride ready to take her vows :)

eija ... we had plum trees at our old place and they also have such a beautiful fragrence!

how long have you had this new template? and why did you decide to change?
i'm way behind on reading over here, i'll try to catch up. your work sounds interesting, but you make the drive THERE sound nicer than the job. oh, you are a silly girl.

susie ... life gets busy, eh! i think i changed the template 2 weeks ago - i think? and i LOVE to drive - so that is the fun part for sure! hope you are having a super duper monday!

How wonderful that you love your job!

I always love your beautiful photos that you post--I know nothing about landscaping-parks, trees, plants, etc......but I do appreciate their outstanding beauty what they add to our world!

jeanette ... YAY mondays! :o) though it was a LONG WEEKEND monday here (Victoria day), so i was at work - but it felt like Sunday, which was a fun day!!! make sense? plus i get paid overtime for STAT days, which all works out WELL! YAY ...

sharon ... actually i'm in the office, but there is a lovely deck at the back where we can sit during breaks ... or walk to the lake which is only a "girlie stone's throw" away ... it's all in the praise category! hope you are enjoying your summer time up north!

Diane ... i appreciate the beauty and like you, don't know how it gets that way! it' just lovely to look at! blessings to you!
