today was my monday ... and it was a really wonderful monday! there was lots to do in the office - phones to answer, computer work to be done ... just busy, normal, pleasant type of work! i think "normal" is a good word sometimes ... after 2 weeks of abnormal ... i was so glad to be back at the salt mines in the park ...
leo had a good day at home ...
i guess after a highly stressful and sad period ... we yearn for the mundane everyday of life ... and we relish a day full of familiar routines ... then we pronounce it a good day ...
yup ... sometimes "normal" is the sweetest sounding of words ...
thank you Lord!

i always did prefer normal. :)
elizabeth ... leo fixed the flat on my bike yesterday - so i went for a short spin to check it out last night! felt great ... :o)
jeanette ... (hugs) re the fender bender ... sheesh ... yes, normal is preferable!
Good Monday morning Saiji!!
I am just getting up myself!
Will talk to you later! Love Terry
Oh!! I guess I can't spell this EARLY in the morning SAIJA. Sorry about that! Love Terry
yes boring and normal is preferable to me too. there's a safety and comfort in it I guess
Normal is good. I am glad to hear that you are back to that.
I arrived via Maggie Ann, and I've been so blessed. you have a wonderful blog, and if it's ok I'd like to come back.
terry ... i type along and mispell all kinds of words! hope you had a wonderful day - mine was super! :o)
mrsd ... it is a rest, isn't it?
sandy ... i try not to dwell on the sadness - it's easy to sink into a depression when one does that ... sometimes i succeed - sometimes i go to bed and hope for a better tomorrow! today was a successful day!
grams ... welcome! isn't knitter kat a wonderful place to visit? she has brightened and blessed many of my days ...
the routines of daily life really ground us especially during stressful times. I remember after my father passed away, I just wanted to nest, and throw myself in the daily tasks around the house....which I did. So glad to hear the things are getting back to "normal" for you and your hubby...blessings to you and yours Saija!! xo
I'm catching up with my blog rounds. So sorry to hear you've had such rough time! But life goes on, God is such a great comforter and I'm glad that you're on the winning side - enjoying the normal :)
mindy ... thank you ... i think it helps me because we live so far away, our routine wasn't touched by this as much (well except my e-mailing, i did a lot of that with lucille) ... leo is still meloncholy, which is certainly expected ... but life feels good none-the-less ... (hugs)
eija ... it is always amazing how life does carry on, even though someone has left it ... that is the way the Lord ordained it, our hearts have a huge capacity to "deal" with things ... blessings on you!
So you got to spend a couple weeks at home. Now I can see why Leo had such a great smile in his birthday mug shot.
