Ha!! My mom was a tanner too, but she wasn't tanning her skin. She had nine of us kids Saija. I will give you one guess what she was tanning all the time!!!... Yep..Her name was Edna the Tanner!!..Ha!! [Proverbs 23:13]...She never DID use a rod but we sure had to hide all the fly swatters and wooden spoons!!!Thank goodness there were no dollar stores in those days with an endless supply!!! Love Terry

Guess my mother was a tanner like Terry's mom was but she turned out two good children!!! ha!! I read Acts 9:43 and I don't think this is what Paul meant when it said that Simon was a tanner...how cute! Have a good day Saija..My MOnday Memory is up if you want to read it..Sandy

terry ... *smiling* ... i remember the old wooden spoon! though i think my mom used to tweak my hair or do the peach-nut thing ... since i didn't like to have my hair pulled, i did try to behave! blessings!

Sandy ... i just checked on your memory pics ... :o) ... the generational ones are always great to look at ... thanks ...
