niagara falls

yesterday i finally saw niagara falls! it was a really good road trip!!! (pic copied off the 'net) ... the Lord gave us a day without rain - until we were packed back in the car, sight-seeing finished for the day ... isn't that great? *smile* ...

today is the BIG 40th anniversary celebration ... since i was a "junior bridesmaid" at the wedding, i get the honour of saying grace, reading greetings and acknowledging out of town guests ...

my camera is working VERY WELL now - the new re-chargeable batteries are doing the job ... i guess the other new re-chargeables i had bought were duds ... so it goes!

well we finished cutting fruits and different things ... back to visiting ...

an up-date for those of you who are wondering how things are going ...

Dear Saija..We just take it for granted ..the Niagara Falls.
We are only 11 miles from it.
Bernie and I never really took advantage of it until his brother and sister-in-law were visiting from Calgary.
We thought that we would show them the sites!
We were really shocked that it was such an enjoyable day!
We went on the "Maid of the Mist" and were really surprised how reasonabe the price was!
It was some experience and people were even crying they were so moved by the power of the Falls.
Good thing it was wet, eh?
But I know a tear when i see it no matter HOW wet it was in that little ship!!
What I also liked was the comradeship of everyone on that boat.
For once it didn't matter who was rich or who was poor or who had the best clothes.
We were all dressed in yellow raincoats with hoods!!...Love Terry

I haven't been getting to visit around the blogs lately ....well, if I want to get things done around the house that is...like ironing and stuff. I am having fun spinning on my drop-spindle though! I'm glad you enjoyed your national treasure...Niagra Falls..love them!
