my internet came back this morning ... it was a short little outage that my server promised to compensate me for, with one free month ... *grin* ... bonus!
it was a snowy day yesterday (my view pictured above) ... i spent it puttering around the house and also reading ... it was nice to just sit and enjoy the quiet of my world ...
the book i am reading is called Night Light, by Terri Blackstock ... it's the second in the series ... about a world where all modern conveniences cease working because of pulses that disrupt them ... interesting concept ... what would a person do? no blogging, that's for sure!
i just got back from a long walk around town ... now ready to sit and read for a bit ... i'm sooooo bad when i get a good book - i need to know what happens!

Hi Saija..Nice to hear your voice again!
Doesn't it make you feel so good looking out at all that snow and not having to shovel it!!'
Just sitting in your comfortable chair and reading a good book.

Interesting book you are reading too!!
Hey there! You have such great pictures! Long time since I've visited, I know. My internet is sooo S-L-O-W now that I'm back on dial-up that I cannot visit like I used to. I just wanted to let you know that I still think about ya! God Bless!
That is a great book..I have read them both. It just makes you think what would we do without everything that we take for granted now. I enjoyed both of them. sandy
elizabeth ... i love bargains too!
mc ... good to hear from you! and i feel for you re the s-l-o-w internet - been there for many years!!
sandy ... she's a good writer, isn't she? :o)
I enjoyed reading your posts tonight. Very inspiring. My favorite is the picture of the sheep and the verse. There's such peace and comfort in knowing that nothing can seperate us from God's love and protection.

I have been known to stay up all night, literally, reading a book I just couldn't put down. :)
s.hunt ... isn't it great the way God does take care of us? even though we sometimes want to go in another direction, rather than the one the Good Shepherd has prepared for us ... blessings to you ...
catherine ... me too - i love it when i find a good book! lately i do much speed reading, it seems if the book doesn't "grab" me, then i speed read it ... hope you've found some excellent reads along the way!
