looking back ...

this is where i blog from ... pic taken 5 minutes ago!

Susan, from penless writer, had a one year blog anniversary this past week ... as part of her celebration, she went back and shared various archived posts ... it's in a meme format ...

since i missed my 3 year blog-aversary in october, i thought this would be a good time to "look back" ...

Here are the rules: Go back through your archives and post the links to your five favorite blog posts that you have written, using these 5 headings ...

here are mine:

Link 1 must be about family.
i wrote about my grandmother in jan 2005:
sentimental ramblings

Link 2 must be about friends.
my friends from work:
my work buds

Link 3 must be about yourself.
my life at age 8:
age of accountability

Link 4 must be about something you love.
i love reading. here is one of my "book reports":
weight of your words

Link 5 can be anything you choose.
the joy of answered prayer regarding our condo.
imagine only one more sleep

what i discovered after reading some of my archived posts, is that i don't post as much anymore ... even so, i hope that my blog blesses you as you come and visit with me ...

if you decide to do this too ... let me know, so i can come read your archived posts ...

Love this picture. Your blogging space looks cozy and efficient. Good for you...My little library table is often piled up. I get proud when its bare but that never lasts long. Your meme is dear..I enjoyed reading about your Grandmother...I had not read that before. What a remarkable and brave woman...how you must love her, even yet.

Dear Saija,
again; thank you for sharing. It sure was a mighty autobiography you've made through these years.
Loved all the chapters, especially the ones about your grandma and about your new home.
They were huuuuuge!

I also want to thank you for standing close and pray, even though you're having more than enough with your daily overload.
Well, only those who have really been in need know how it feels and how much a prayer is worth.
God bless you and Leo richly back.
From your Felisol

First, Saija, thanks for doing this!!!

Second, I love the picture and seeing you in your blogging area.

Third, I read each and every link and am so thankful to get to know a little more about you and your faith walk.

Fourth, I look so forward to what the Lord has ahead for both of us!!! We will meet in Heaven, that is for sure.

God is soooo good

The 23rd Psalm explained:

The Lord is my Shepherd = That's Relationship!

I shall not want = That's Supply!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures = That's Rest!

He leadeth me beside the still waters = That's Refreshment!

He restoreth my soul = That's Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness = That's Guidance!

For His name sake = That's Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death = That's
Testing!

I will fear no evil = That's Protection!

For Thou art with me = That's Faithfulness!

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me = That's Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies =
That's Hope!

Thou annointest my head with oil = That's Consecration!

My cup runneth over = That's Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life =
That's Blessing!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord = That's Security!

Forever = That's Eternity!

****Face it, the Lord is crazy about you.

What is most valuable,is not what we have in our lives, but WHO we have in our lives!

Deby ... it's nice to see where blog buds sit, as they tap tap away at computers ... better to visualize the writer, isn't it?

Sandy ... hope you have a wonderful weekend too!
