how come folks look everywhere for answers ... yet when real trouble strikes - they seem to know WHERE the help really comes from?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

I've noticed this ...... the very first question they ask is directed towards God ...... "Oh God, what am I going to do?" .....

Interesting how Tuesday's Daily Bread meant so much to you that you posted it Saija. When I read it I took my Bible and read the book of Ruth, then my daughter brought me an old book that her great-grandmother had left us. Think I'll be reading it soon ..... The Romance of Redemption .... The Love Story of Ruth and Boaz ... by M. R. DeHaan, M.D. The book was a gift from Dr. DeHaan to my DH's Nana "in appreciation of your valued assistance in keeping the gospel on the air."

Dawn ... sounds like a God thing ... i have read books by Dr. DeHaan and been blessed and refreshed each time - and learned some good good bible truths ... it's neat the way the Lord brings different teachers or books into our lives at different times ... :o)

How true! He is like no other..."and underneath are the everlasting arms"...how many times he has lifted me up in my soul and spirit and strengthened me...a lowly sinner saved by grace.
