they would soon have nothing to grumble about."

Time spent in prayer and in the Word is such a blessing.
I know that today is Leo's birthday. Happy Birthday to Leo.
Best wishes to you both.

You have a point there!!! Indeed!! Have been trying to get some ruffled feathers unruffled in the women of our small study group! Sometimes...told hubby it may be because of the ages...all are older than me, at age 54...all the way up to the 80's...patience, forebearance, grace, mercy needed. At least the last meeting was quiet and peaceable...a good thing!!

Oh that is so true! The other night when I had a burden on my heart I set the kitchen timer for 15 minutes and prayed my heart out about it. What a blessing...sweet hour of prayer and what a difference it makes to surrender the worries. *hugs* to you Saija =)

Oh, I hardly think so. I can find stuff to grumble about even when praying. Not to grumble or anything. ;)

maggie ann ... if we can just leave our worries with the Lord, our load is SO MUCH lighter, isn't it? remember the old chorus "... don't be a doubting Thomas, rest fully on God's promise ... why worry, worry, worry, worry? - when you can pray!" ... blessings on your sunday ...

michael ... me too ... i picture my hand in God's hand and everything being fine ... *smile backatcha* ...

terry ... i will pass along your b.day greetings for my sweetie (he said he did have a nice day yesterday ... :o) ...) and i hope that you have a wonderfully blessed Lord's day too ... i'll be in the air-conditioned park office for most of the day - then my brother is supposed to be spending a night with us - on his way west ... (hugs)!

jeanette ... *chuckling* ... i see you praying, and the Lord giving you a big hug ... and then i see you with a big grin on your face ... ;)

I'm just getting back to blogging after a short "absence" so I'm just dropping by to say "Hi, I've missed you." I'm so sorry to hear of Leo's sister. My condolences to you both. Blessings, Rita
